Bangladeshi Scientist wins NASA Innovator Award 2008


Dr. Anis Rahman received the NASA Nanotech Brief's Nano-50 Innovator Award for 2008. This reward recognize the top 50 technologies, products, and innovators that have significantly impacted – or are expected to impact – the state of the art in nanotechnology. The winners of the Nano 50 awards are the "best of the best" – the innovative people and designs that will move nanotechnology to key mainstream markets.

Dr. Anis lives near Harrisburg, PA and currently conducting research on high efficiency terahertz technology having applications in biological, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and other life science areas.
