Jamaat admit they are liar

Todays newspapers highlights that Jamaat-e-Islami will openly apologize.
-Apology will mean they admit they commited war crime in 1971.
-But In Oct 25, 2007 Jamaat claimed in press that they did not do any warcrime!

So which one is true? Fact is Criminals often speak too many lies that they cannot remember what they have told.


1)একাত্তরের জন্য প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাইতে পারে জামায়াত

যুদ্ধাপরাধীদের বিচারে জাতীয় সংসদ সর্বসম্মত সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়ার পর জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে চলছে মোকাবিলার প্রস্ত্ততি। দলের সর্বোচ্চ নীতিনির্ধারণী ফোরাম মজলিশে শুরার দুই দিনের রুদ্ধদ্বার বৈঠকে এই প্রস্ত্ততি নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে। এদিকে বিএনপি মহাসচিব খোন্দকার দেলোয়ার হোসেন যুদ্ধাপরাধীদের বিচারের পক্ষে তার দলের অবস্থান ঘোষণা করার পর এবং স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী যুদ্ধাপরাধীরা যাতে বিদেশে পালিয়ে যেতে না পারে সে জন্য নির্দেশ দেয়ার ফলে জামায়াতের অবস্থা এখন দৃশ্যত নাজুক। জামায়াতের একজন নেতা ইত্তেফাককে বলেন, বিএনপির এমন কড়া প্রতিক্রিয়া আমাদের কাম্য ছিল না। জামায়াতের একাধিক নেতা জানিয়েছেন, গতকাল শেষ হওয়া দু’দিনের মজলিশে শুরার বৈঠকে কর্মপন্থা নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়েছে। অনেকে মতামত দিয়েছেন যে, ‘একাত্তরের স্বাধীনতাযুদ্ধের ভূমিকার জন্য প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাইতে হবে। ক্ষমা চাইলে তা জামায়াতের পক্ষে যাবে।’ এই মতামতের প্রেক্ষিতে জামায়াতে ইসলামীর নেতারা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ক্ষমা চাইতে পারেন বলে সূত্র জানিয়েছে।

Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh yesterday said they did not work against the Liberation War in 1971 and claimed that there is no war criminal in the country. "In fact anti-liberation forces never even existed," Jamaat Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid told reporters coming out of the talks with the Election Commission (EC) on electoral reforms.
According to newspaper reports, speeches and statements of those accused of war crimes, and the finds of different probes including the People's Enquiry Commission, Mujahid, who was president of East Pakistan Islami Chhatra Shangha and chief of the infamous Al Badr Bahini back in 1971, helped the occupying Pakistan army carry out massacre, looting and rape.
